Have a photoshoot coming up? Here's a few ways to prepare for it!

  1. Pinterest is our BESTIE

If you have specific photos that you would like your photographer to recreate and deliver, don't hesitate to give them reference photos! Photographers love Pinterest because it gives them a better understanding of what vibe you're going for in a photo shoot.

By doing this, you can practice the poses you really like, which means you can feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

2. Recommend a location

If you have one in mind, give your photographer some ideas for places to shoot. Doing this can help you feel more comfortable during your session. For example, you might like doing the photo shoot in your backyard rather than in a public space like a park because you'll feel less shy in the comfort of your own home.

Don't hesitate to give your photographer location ideas because, in the end, you're paying for the photos!

3. don't wear too much makeup

Listen, everyone loves a bomb makeup look. However, if you are planning on booking a multiple-hour shoot in the hot sun, foundation is not your friend. A soft makeup look is suggested.

But, if you want to show the world your awesome makeup skills, I recommend bringing lots of powder and oil blotch paper!

4. Don't Be nervous!

Remember, photoshoots are tailored to you! Photographers prioritize your comfort and the photos you want. Our job is not only to deliver the best photo gallery, but to also ensure you are happy, comfortable, and having a great time! If you are nervous about an upcoming photoshoot, tell your photographer and they will definitely help you.
